To the Saints of the Living Springs Baptist Church,

I wanted to write and post this to the blog because I everyone to know how I feel about our little church.

What I want to express in this writing is how much I love you and appreciate your faithfulness to each other, the ministry, and the love you have expressed toward me as your Pastor.

I pray for you nearly every day and know that you have many struggles, temptations, and trials. I know that you battle with the flesh, the world, and the Devil, and sometimes it seems that you are on the losing end. Fear not dear saints, we have an advocate with the Father, The Lord Jesus Christ.

Peter was about to be terribly tested by the devil and Jesus said to him, Simon, Simon, behold, Satan hath desired to have you, that he may sift you as wheat: But I have prayed for thee, that thy faith fail not:  The Lord Jesus is in heaven interceding for his beloved people. But not only so, but I also count it a privilege to take the names of our people before the Lord, and in my feebleness pray for you because I love you.

I know I don’t say it enough, I love our little church; I love the way you sing, I love that you love the precious word of God and I love that you love one another.

I pray that God may graciously add to our assembly those who would also love us and the Savior.

In hope,

Pastor David Hethorn
